Outline

The Executive Leaders Housing Management Level 5 Qualification is designed for senior housing professionals, heads of service, directors and aspiring executive leaders working within the housing sector. The programme develops the strategic leadership, governance and organisational oversight skills required to lead high-performing housing services and drive organisational success.

Learners will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to:

·       Provide strategic leadership across housing services and organisations

·       Lead organisational change and continuous improvement

·       Develop governance, risk management and assurance practices

·       Ensure compliance with housing regulation and consumer standards

·       Drive organisational performance through effective use of data and insight

·       Lead financial planning, value for money and resource management

·       Manage strategic relationships with stakeholders, partners and communities

·       Promote ethical leadership, professionalism and accountability

·       Influence organisational culture and workforce development

·       Develop long-term business planning and sustainability strategies

The programme is mapped to the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Competence and Conduct Standard, supporting learners to develop the professional competence, behaviours and ethical standards expected of senior housing leaders. Learning is applied directly to the workplace, enabling learners to make a measurable impact within their organisation while strengthening their leadership capability.

Mandatory Qualification: CIH Level 5 Diploma in Housing

Assessment

Learners are supported by a dedicated Training Associate through one-to-one coaching, executive development reviews, online resources and group workshop sessions. The programme combines workplace application, written assignments and reflective practice to support successful achievement of the qualification.

Entry Requirements

Learners should be working in a senior housing management, leadership or strategic role, with responsibility for influencing organisational performance, governance or service delivery. Assessments will be carried out with employers to determine suitability and ensure learners have opportunities to apply their learning within the workplace.
